Original description
The shape of the band-bell coupling (without pawls) of Brembo T-DRIVE discs allows for more efficient transmission of braking torque and improves resistance to thermomechanical stress. The T-DRIVE system allows for both radial and axial floating and reduces the overall weight of the disc, offering a significant advantage in rideability. The braking band, made from the same steel used in MotoGP and SBK discs, has been optimized both by reducing its height (for lighter weight and easier handling) and by improving the arrangement of the holes (of different diameters). The bell, made from light alloy and machined using CNC techniques, also contributes significantly to the final result, ensuring exceptional lightness and rigidity.
