Original description
The shape of the band-bell coupling (without pawls) of Brembo T-DRIVE discs allows for more efficient transmission of braking torque and improves resistance to thermomechanical stress. The T-DRIVE system allows for both radial and axial floating and reduces the overall weight of the disc, resulting in a significant improvement in rideability. The braking band, made of the same steel as the discs used in MotoGP and SBK, has been optimized both by reducing its height (for lighter weight and easier handling) and by redistributing the arrangement of the holes (of different diameters). The bell also contributes substantially to the final result: made of light alloy using CNC machining, it has been designed to ensure lightness and rigidity.
