Original description
The shape of the band-bell coupling (without pawls) of Brembo T-DRIVE discs allows for more efficient transmission of braking torque and improves resistance to thermomechanical stress. The T-DRIVE system allows for both radial and axial floating and reduces the overall weight of the disc, resulting in a significant improvement in rideability. The braking band, made from the same steel as the discs used in MotoGP and SBK, has been optimized both by reducing its height (for lighter weight and easier handling) and by redistributing the arrangement of the holes (of different diameters). The bell, made from a lightweight alloy using CNC machining, contributes significantly to the final result, ensuring lightness and rigidity.
